Desmond Jordan is the driving force behind House of Gains, a Burgaw-based athletic training facility dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels reach their full potential. A lifelong athlete with deep roots in Rocky Point, NC, Desmond’s passion for fitness and community is evident in every aspect of his work.
From little league to professional football, rugby, and baseball, Desmond has honed his athleticism and developed a profound understanding of human performance. His competitive spirit led him to excel in powerlifting, where he has captured multiple world and national championships and records.
Desmond brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy as a seasoned personal trainer and powerlifting coach. He is committed to empowering his clients to achieve their goals, whether building strength, losing weight, or competing at the highest level. At House of Gains, Desmond and his team offer personalized training programs, powerlifting coaching, and a supportive community environment to help clients succeed.
Desmond’s vision extends beyond the gym walls. He is dedicated to positively impacting the Burgaw community by promoting health and wellness. He aims to inspire others to embrace an active lifestyle and reach their full potential.
Desmond Jordan, the driving force behind House of Gains, is dedicated to providing his clients with the highest expertise. He holds a bachelor's degree from Winston-Salem State University (2008) and an associate’s degree (2014) in personal training and occupational studies. Continuously seeking to expand his knowledge, Desmond is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports training facilities.
